Someone told me that step one is learning HTML. What is step two, three, four, ect?

   Yep, first of all you have to learn HTML… You can start learning from this site ( )…
   After that if you want to give some style to your website you have to learn CSS (http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp )…
   You might to know JavaScript if you want to put some features like sliding windows or stylish menu ( )…
   I think that what you might to start creating your own website.

   But if you don’t want to learn all this thing and just want to create beautifull site without any programming I suggest you to use CMS. What I can recommend you is Joomla CMS. It is easy to use and install and you don”t really have to know HTML, CSS or JavaScript…
